In 2002, Rhonda and Dina Mitrani were inspired to return to Miami from New York City to convert their father's old clothing factory into artist studios. As pioneers of Wynwood’s transformation into an arts community, this filmmaker and art gallerist see the need to create a community where people can explore, learn, discuss film and the visual arts. Located in the heart of Wynwood, Mitrani Warehouse is now home to galleries, art studios, architects, a film/video boutique and a socially conscious fashion company. With their experience in the film and art industries and their drive to further Wynwood's growth, Dina and Rhonda continue to make Mitrani Warehouse a venue for creative thinking and community enrichment.
